This adorable country style Inn lies nestled in a quiet neighborhood off the beaten path of downtown Carmel. Upon stepping into their Garden Courtyard your senses will escape into a realm of pleasure, relaxation and serenity. You can enjoy the picturesque sunsets from one of their Rooms with a view or while relaxing outside in the courtyard. We offer an enjoyable experience in any one of our 15 rooms that are provided with such amenities as TV, VCR and Refrigerator. Along with these amenities we have many rooms available with fireplaces, full baths, private kitchenettes and multiple bed accommodations.

In addition to the elegant home style accommodations, the Carmel Wayfarer Inn also shares with its guest a grandiose continental breakfast complete with a choice selection of fresh fruits, waffles, muffins, pastries, and even fresh baked homemade bread. One of Carmel's landmark inns, built in 1927, it has recently been totally remodeled and reflects the good taste and refined splendor of the best of bed and breakfast inns. Each of their 16 individually decorated rooms has it's own charm and character and all are warm, cozy and very romantic. All rooms are available with queen and king size beds. Rooms with king beds have fireplaces. Some have wet bars, fridges and micro-ovens and all have color TV'' with remote control.

For your morning pleasure, enjoy healthy, delicious, buffet breakfast in their comfortable lobby. From 5:30 to 6:30 each evening, they serve wine, champagne, cheese and crackers with fruit in the lobby.

They require one night's deposit in advance and you must cancel at least seven days in advance of your arrival. There is a $10 cancellation fee. This is a non-smoking inn. Sorry no pets.
