Only one hundred yards from Carmel's beautiful white sandy beaches and dramatic ocean surf, you'll find the most romantic country inn. Their seventeen charming rooms and cottage rooms are individually decorated with country antiques and original paintings. Several rooms have sweeping ocean views across Carmel Bay. Others have cozy fireplaces. All their rooms have private bathrooms and large beds - some have four-posters.

Each morning a delicious buffet breakfast of orange juice, granola, fruit, and freshly baked pastries or muffins is served in their spacious living room, or take a tray to a garden patio or to your room. Tea and sherry are served in the afternoon. There are no TVs or telephones in the rooms. There is a TV and telephone in the living room. Only one block from the beach and 10 blocks from downtown Carmel, the Sandpiper is a delightful romantic hideaway.

A two-night deposit is required to reserve the room. A full-prepayment is required for holidays and special events. Cancellation must be made at least seven days in advance. A $15 fee is charged for cancellation. The Inn is non-smoking. Sorry, no pets.
