Located on the hillside overlooking the dramatic Big Sur Coast and the Pacific, and situated on 240 acres of peaceful, undisturbed meadows, Ventana offers the discriminating traveler exceptional lodging, restaurant and spa services. Ventana is truly one of the most spectacular accommodations on the California Coast.

Ventana's modified European Plan includes a complimentary continental breakfast served daily from 8 to 10:30am and a wine reception served between 4 and 5:00pm.

Ventana's restaurant Cielo specializes in fresh seafood, game and traditional fare. Executive Chef Matthew serves California Cuisine emphasizing only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Many of the herbs and fruits are from Ventana's own gardens and their bakery provides a wide array of freshly baked breads and elegant dessert presentations.

They have 56 rooms and three townhouse suites. The room's range from standard accommodations to rooms with fireplace and wet bar; some has private hot tubs. The townhouse suites consist consist of living room with fireplace and wet bar downstairs and luxurious bedroom and bath upstairs. All rooms have a private balcony or patio, with either distant ocean or mountain views.

Ventana is designed and operated for an adult clientele seeking a quiet atmosphere. No pets are allowed.

In order to secure your reservation, a deposit equivalent to the first night's accommodation and 10.5% room tax. If you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so at least 14 days in advance of your arrival.
