Located in the historic La Playa Hotel, the Terrace Grill has a view of the ocean on one side and immaculate flower gardens on the other. A covered and heated terrace offers al fresco dining at its best!
A casual ambiance defines the Terrace Grill, serving innovative California cuisine with Mediterranean and Southwestern influences. The wood-paneled Terrace Grill Lounge offers cocktails, an extensive wine list and a collection of old ports and sherries. A pub menu featuring light fare is available in the lounge until 11:00 p.m. daily. Cocktails and bar menu items may also be ordered for poolside dining. La Playa's Pastry Chef creates all desserts daily. The Terrace Grill's wine list features the best in Central Coast wines and favorites from Napa and Sonoma counties.

THE FORGE

Surrounded by shrubs and flowers, the restaurant's spacious patio is warmed by outdoor fireplaces and heat lamps. The rotisserie room is ideal for private parties and the 13-seat wine cellar is perfect for an even more intimate private party. The General Store dining room with its white tablecloths, collectibles and wrought iron chairs is a wonderful blend of traditional and modern. New owners Glenn and Sue Hammer serve a collection of American flavors in a casual atmosphere. There is a full bar with drinks served from a mahogany bar dating back to the days of the Gold rush. The restaurant is located at Fifth and Junipero in Carmel.
Lunch and Dinner: 11:30am-10pm.
Open until 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
Bar open until midnight Sun - Thursday, 1am-Friday and Saturday.
